At
KENBRO, it is our Quality Policy to design, produce, deliver
products who’s quality meet the highest standards.
Good quality is defined by our own requirements to the
finalized product and at all times satisfying the client's
requirements.
For our concrete products,
the material required for the production is well tested
within our own mixer plant situated adjacent to the
production areas. The mixer plant is highly computerized
and constantly calibrated in accordance with the Kenya
Bureau of Standards (KBS) recommendations and requirements.
Our other product ranges
are also well tested, both during and after production
to ensure perfect colour consistency and durability
is achieved.
KENBRO performs a full-scale
load test. The first stage in the load test is to apply
the full service (SLS) load and compare the theoretical
deflection with the actual. After 24 hours the full
load in ultimate limit state (ULS) is applied, and deflection
is again measured. In ultimate stage loading, cracks
normally occur in the slab bottom. Load tests are always
preformed in our own stockyard.
